WHAT IS YOUR POLICY AROUND LATE ATTENDANCE AND CANCELLATION?

Late Attendance

Should you be running late to attend a session please call or SMS to advise of your expected time of arrival. If you arrive late (within 15 minutes of booking time) the session will still need to conclude at the original time. If late arrival is over 15 minutes the session will be forfieted due to insufficient time remaining.

Due to the impact on following client sessions, your session time cannot be extended to allow for late arrival after 15 minutes, as such the session will still conclude at the original time. The full fee of the session will be charged in all late attendance circumstances within 15 minutes. Non-attendance will incur a $50 fee.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to postpone or cancel an appointment, please provide 24 hours notice. Late cancellation (less that 24 hours) will result in a $50 cancellation fee. Should there be extenuating circumstances, please contact the practice to discuss. Cancellation requests may be left on the Inner Wisdom Therapeutic Counselling phone message bank if we are unable to take your call. Session reminders will be sent 48 hours prior to session to allow ample time for cancellation if required.

Should we need to cancel a session, we also intend to provide you with at least 24 hours notice.

In the unlikely event of the therapist cancelling, an alternative appointment will be offered. The therapist will contact you to discuss re-arrangement of an imminent appointment.
